About the project:
They are a non-governmental organisation that aims to raise awareness of and help combat poverty in developing countries. Voluntary workers are sent to countries such as Mexico to provide free English classes to local people, in order to help them progress in the labour market and tourism industry.The organisation also supports the planning and implementing of local enterprises, such as Fairtrade online shops, eco-tourism businesses and child sponsorship programs. Through these projects, United Vision benefits not only particular families but entire communities.
What you’ll be doing:
We need fluent English speakers to volunteer to teach English to adults and children. You’ll receive teaching training and help with preparing your lesson plans.
We also need our interns to keep our blog up-to-date, so our potential volunteers, members and the general public can see how our projects are developing.
Desired skills:
Interns must be over 18 years old
Good Spanish is essential
Prior experience travelling outside the EU is an advantage
Teaching experience is an advantage
