About the project:
The projects mission is to empower women living in poverty in the Ate-Vitarte district of Lima, Peru, by improving the availability and quality of education offered to women and children. Workshops and classes provide women with the information and support they need to better care for themselves and their families, as well as advancing their skills in the workforce. Children learn the value of education and respect for one’s community, and are encouraged to become positive leaders for change. Programmes are offered in literacy, math, English, art, community leadership and much more.
