The mission of the station is to provide excellence in academic programming and research opportunities for national and international students, faculty and researchers.

Role of Volunteer

Volunteers will have the opportunity to study our unique premontaine forest environment hands-on, work with visitors and scientists from around the world in a variety of disciplines, and personally
get to know members of our small, rural community through community service activities.

We are looking for volunteers who want to focus on teaching, this will be done informally in workshop classes, lectures and during guiding.  No formal qualifications are required but must have suitable knowlodge of conservation and wildlife.

We encourage students who want to conduct their own research for their studies!  Topics could include conservation, ecotourism and sustainable practices.  Please email directly to discuss suitable topics.
