The lodge offers bed and breakfast accommodation to "green" and eco-friencly travellers, but it is also open to all kinds of visitors who want to stay somewhere completely different to conventional lodging in town. The lodge is located 5 km from the provincial capital Ban Lung, and is nestled in the natural jungle just a short walk from the Yaklom volcano Lake. It is run in an eco and environmentally friendly way. The lodge has 15 bungalows that can accommodate from 1 person in a single bungalow upto 8 persons in a traditional hill tribe house. Apart from accommodation, a small restaurant is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The lodge also offers excursions that includes a variety of trekkings and village homestay in indigenous communities. 

Role of Volunteer

What we have in mind now is improving/teaching English of the staff, and also teaching
English to young indigenous people in Yaklom commune who can make use of the language in
accessing to better employment as well as in tourism sector in Ratanakiri which is
growing.  But we are open to your ideas we will adapt your stay to your skills!  

Cost

Volunteers will be offered free accommodation and breakfast.  Meals can be bought from as little as US$2.  The volunteer will be given a free 2 day orientation of the area. 

Travel

Volunteers can be picked up from the Ratanakiri airport for free.  Travel from Phnom Penh airport to Ratanakiri costs US$15 by bus.
